Chippendale serpentine chest circa 1750-80 with ball and claw feet
Made from mahogany stained pear, and French polished.
The draws have dovetail joints, hand made brass handles, imitation locks with a key and panel bottoms.
For the first time I have made dust panels.
Dust panels between each draw, originally made to protect the contents from dust or soot
( most rooms had open fires ). Once each draw was locked it also prevented access to the contents of lower
Draws.
